For the first time this year the Department of Physics and Astronomy is offering one of our physics courses in French as well as in English.

Thirteen years ago Sandy Murphree was the Head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy; one year later he stepped down and another year later accepted the position of Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science, again moving up to being the Dean of the Faculty of Science. And now he has moved up again.
