Grad 601 is the orientation program for new students run jointly by the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) and the Graduate Students Association (GSA) during the September and January block week periods (immediately preceding the beginning of the semester) each academic year. It is generally a one-day program and covers:
The session generally includes, lunch, a campus tour, and a reception at the Grad Lounge at the end of the day, giving new students an opportunity to meet graduate students from other departments.
